Door County Library's special collection of materials focused on the environment includes subscription databases, books, videos, journal articles and games. Part of the LERN Center for Community Engagement, it is a library of resources and online catalog housing research and educational materials on the county’s natural heritage. Also included are  books recommended by the Sustain Door organization. This collection is a clearinghouse of educational materials and research documentation providing all in the community the foundation necessary to explore and investigate local environmental issues to address the critical needs of our community.

	Part of the LERN Library, BioOne includes high-impact bioscience research journals, featuring timely content on a wide-array of today’s most pressing topics, including global warming, stem cell research, ecological and biodiversity conservation.
	EBSCO research database, provided by BadgerLink, focuses on the relationship between human beings and the environment with well-researched but accessible information on topics ranging from global warming to recycling to alternate fuel sources and beyond.
